2013 Ford Edge Water Pump Issue

I have a 2013 Ford Edge 3.5 V6 with 105,000 Miles. It's been a very good and dependable car, but after hearing about the water pump and oil dilution issues, is this car  worth keeping or should I sell or trade it in while it has some value left?

If it were me, while it is still running I would get rid of it.  See below at 10:29 by Master Mechanic The Car Wizard:

If you really like it, you can replace the water pump now and maybe every 5 years if you continue driving about 13k a year. Looks like it is about a grand for the job. Should keep you rolling if you don't get a defective pump. It's a gamble.

The water pump is internal to the engine and is a >$1,000 + job since it’s a partial engine out job.

I got the cost from Google, it could easily be more than what I read. Swine Ford engineers.
