1st incident occurred when starting and shifting to reverse. Made it to end of the driveway and car died. Then, I was able to drive to a nearby stop sign and it died again.
Took it to the dealer and they said it's the Vapor Management Valve and Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor (codes P0087, P0301, P1450, codes for #1 Coil). Estimated 1k repair job.
Dealership states they replaced #1 Coil, Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor, and VMV.
When I attempted to start again the next day, it died once more. It is stalling in unpredictable ways.
It has also leaked coolant and needed a top off about 9 months ago.
Take that info that the dealer gave and find a good mechanic and take it to them and tell them what you told us. The dealer will rake you over the coals and back if they fix it and they'll probably do a crap job too.
