Scotty! I have a 2013 Ford fusion 2.0 Ecoboost, 164.000 miles and runs like a clock! has brand new tires, coolant reservoir , spark plugs, oil is changed every 4,000 miles with royal purple 5w30. do you think my car would make the road trip from oklahoma city to san diego and back? Thank you!

Could be. When did you last change your transmission fluid and filter, differential hypoid gear oil, check all your grease fittings, radiator coolant, brake fluid, brakes, pcv valve, air filter, clean MAF sensor, etc?

What I do for long road trips is renting a car instead of putting all those miles on my own car (if economically feasible for you I think it's worth considering it).
