2013 Honda Fit 55k Mike's or 2015 Kia Rio 65k miles
If I could trade in my Kia Rio LX $11750 payoff quote and try to get as even as I could, would a 2013 Honda Fit 55k $11,000 be better?
If a good mechanic says the Fit is OK, price aside yes it would be a good move. The Kia is a time bomb. (That sounds like too much for a 10-year-old Fit but as has been said many times the market is in a crazy state.)
Neither at those prices! Those are Corolla/Civic prices..
If you can get the price down, the Fit all the way!
Avoid the Kia Rio and Hyundai Motor Group Products at all costs. It’s been mentioned on this forum and by Scotty ad nauseum.

I'll def see what can be done. I was looking at other Toyotas and Hondas as well but I was worried since most are 100k plus miles and for a bit more. For instance:
1. 2016 Honda Civic 119k miles for $14500
2. 2010 Toyota Corolla 112.5k miles for $8500
3. 2010 Toyota Corolla 73k miles for $12000
4. 2013 Corolla 90k miles for $13000
5. 2013 Scion xB 10 series 83k miles for $13000
6. 2015 Corolla 85k miles for $14000
7. 2014 Corolla 88.5k miles for $14000
8. 2012 Civic 96k miles for $14500
9. 2014 Camry 99k miles for $15000
10. 2014 Civic 115k miles $13300
In my mind #2 makes most sense because of higher miles but it's significantly less than the rest. Otherwise, the Fit is the least miles for $11000 which led me to it. But as far as 100k plus miles on Hondas and Toyotas, is that an exception because it's just "breaking in" ?
Well, you still want to have the vehicle checked out by a professional mechanic. They’re all used, so who knows what actual shape they’re in.. Test drive a bunch of them, and pick 1 or 2 as the candidate/s for getting the inspection. I’d avoid the 2010 Corolla because the 2ZR-FE had excessive oil consumption problems. #1 (if it has the 2.0L engine) & #4 would be my pick if it passes the inspection.

I currently have the 2015 Kia Rio but this post is my attempt to compare other cars at dealerships. I only learned about the Kia and Hyundai poor quality after I bought the Kia 🥲
