Hey Scotty,
love the clips on YouTube. My daughter has a 2013 Kia Soul! 2.0. I know, I know. (Her grandfather bought it for her). It has 113,000 on it. I’m getting it ready to sell and the a/c just went out. I can hear the compressor kick on but it’s no longer getting cold. It does have Freon. I do hear a “metallic hissing” sound from the vents or dash. Could it be the expansion valve? Maybe the condenser? How would I know? Thank you so much for your time.

Who the heck knows maybe it has a small refrigerant leak fill up with refrigerant if it works sell it
