The following codes came up on a 2013 VW CC, P0087, P0088 P0301, and P0303. It was not going over 20 miles per hour. It also says low fuel rail pressure. I changed the high pressure fuel pump. Then test drove the vehicle. At the end of the test drive, the EPC light came on and the vehicle started doing the same thing again, which was not going over 20 miles per hour. There is no check engine light. Just the EPC light. PLEASE HELP
Well when the EPC light comes on that means it's a problem with the electronics throttle system. Those are very complex, but if you want a wild guess up in the throttle position sensors go bad on those and you won't be able to go over a certain speed. But it is part of a computer system and anything can happen from the main computer to a power module to the throttle motor on the engine. Big reason I tell people not to buy VW's
