My mom 2014 Altima s car starts and runs good but yesterday it jerked and it still drove good but the next day she started and it’s running good but when she put in in gear it stalls and turns off

well unfortunately this altima's are not very well made a vehicles pray at something simple like a clogged fuel filter or a big vacuum leak and not engine or transmission problems there's lots of times if you start a car and then put it in gear and it stalls out it means the transmission is failing or the torque converter inside the transmission
