Hello all , first post

I recently bought 2013 lexus es350
It is at 100000 KILOMETRES /62K miles

previous owner never had transmission oil change, now i do not feel any problem with transmission (its not even so smooth that i don’t even feel a gear change, not sure how smooth it should be, coming from a manual) on my car but being proactive should i do an oil change now

coz i have heard that it could be too late  to change fluid , coz new fluid might cause your transmission to slip

please advise

thanks

I would drain and fill it. I would not flush it.

100k km is nothing, theyre usually do every 80k km. go to toyota dealer buy the 4 quarts or so and drain and fill and do again every 50k, fluid is so cheap id take care of a car like that

Drain and fill or if you can, remove the pan and change the filter as well.  Good for another 50,000 miles.

Drain what will go out and put exaclty the same amount in, dont forget the filter 🙂 60k miles is normal oil change, but in future change it every 30-50k miles for excellent life of transmission.

when does your owner's manual say to do it?

@mountainmanjoe
It does not say anything about transmission fluid change

@bshahi
What about service manual? Do you have it?
