Hey Scotty!
I have a 2019 Chevy Colorado automatic, two-wheel drive with around 23,000 miles that I bought new, and there's a squeaking sound coming from the rear end. I did some research and there's a service bulletin out for the issue, but I heard horror stories where dealers say there's nothing wrong or deny fixing it under warranty. Am I making a big deal out of a small issue and deal with it, or should I take your advice on newer GM trucks and get rid of the stupid thing NOW? I'm looking at getting a low-mileage 2018-2021 Camry Hybrid, as well as a cheap used truck later on.
Service bulletin is 17-NA-394.
Thanks!
There shouldn't be any squeaking. Print out the bulletin and take it with you to Chevrolet. Demonstrate the sound to them and see what they say.
