Is it a good idea to buy a 2014 Malibu 160,000 miles clean title no problem with the car for $6,000

It’s never a good idea to buy a high mileage GM vehicle esp. one made within the last 10 years when quality really took a hit. If the engine or transmission is not on its way out (esp. if the previous owner(s) was not on top of the maintenance) then the electronics (electrical gremlins) will most likely bite you. I would pass on it.

Definitely pass. You'd be a sucker to buy that car, especially at that price.
