Hi guys, I’m looking at a 2014 Fusion SE with the naturally aspirated 4CYL. Would this be a good run around car as I can get it for under $12,000 with 131k miles. I’m just curious as to the reliability and any known issues with this model/year. I’m not expecting Toyota or Honda quality but if it can reach 200,000 miles I’d be happy. Thanks!
It's still amazes me. The cards with high mileage go for so much money. They are okay cars like you're saying, not a Toyota or Honda quality but have a mechanic. Check it out before you buy. Though. I'd never want to pay that kind of money for a Ford with that kind of mileage with the tiny little four-cylinder engine
It may be alright to be honest if it's used conservatively. Like OG Scotty said, have a mechanic check it out first before buying it. And also be aware of the transmission too. They're possibly the weakest part of the entire vehicle fyi.
