I Have a 2014 Ford Fusion with the 1.5 Ecoboost Engine. The Piston Has a Hole In It So the Motor Will Need Replaced. The Mechanic [Who Everyone Ive Talked to Says is Honest] Is Quoting Me At 5500$ For a New Engine. I Looked At This Model Toyota Camry And Honda Accord And I Currently Do Not Have the Funds To Buy A Good Reliable Car That Model . So Im Curious If I Should Have the Engine Replaced And Save Money And Trade it On a Good Toyota Later Down the Road, Or Sell It For What I Can Get For it And Save The money intill I Can Get A Good Toyota or Honda.

If after replacing the engine, you can sell the car with profit, then go right a head and sell it immediately before having more issues.
