Hello, I used to work at a Mercedes dealership here in Ontario,I would have never considered buying a Mercedes because of reliability. The sales manager however recommended a 13/14 C350 to me claiming they are one of the most reliable and longest lasting Mercedes models. I wanted to know if this is true and if it’s worth saving the $5k-$9k over a Lexus IS 350.

I personally think you would be much better off with the Lexus
The IS350 looks better and is an overall better car IMO, the Merc got a very good engine and overall all of Mercedes engines are good engines but the problem is with the rest of the electronics that will break down one after another probably in the next 5 years if you are looking for a car to keep for 10 years or so I’d say go for the Lexus
