Hi Scotty, i have a 2014 toyota tacoma 4cyl automatic that sometimes makes a fairly loud vibration for a second when driving around 28mph. Happens again at about 38 or 40 mph. Feels like its coming from the transmission. Doesnt happen all the time. i got it as the third owner with 24k miles and its at 34k miles now. If i speed up or slow down it goes away. Also, is it ok to do just a partial transmission fluid change right now? Just take a small out and refill the same amount without having to use the jumpers to get the trans fluid up to temp ?
Yeah you can do a partial transmission change now you never know where noises and vibrations are coming from so see my video finding the source of car noise Scotty. Using any machine like that can pinpoint exactly where the noise is coming from but if he is coming from the transmission I would basically live with it because you'd have to rebuild a transmission and that cost a fortune and they can run that way for years and still be drivable
