2014 Town and Country turn signal not working

Hi Scotty, I’m having some trouble with my rear right turn signal. I changed the light bulb a few time but the light works for a day or so and then stops working. It turns on and off randomly. I believe it’s a electrical problem. What do you think about it?

If it's just a problem of it not working the easiest thing to do would be replace that tail light assembly. ($80 aftermarket)

They come with a new harness/lamp sockets and it's just a matter of removing 2 screws to remove the assembly, unplug the old light harness connector (circled in red), plug in the new light harness connector, replace the 2 screws and you're done. 15 minutes.

To be sure you aren't wasting 80 bucks you may want to get a cheap test light, unplug that (circled) connector, and with the turn signal on, probe the socket in the (body side) of the connector for the turn signal.

If the test light doesn't flash, replacing the tail light assembly won't help.

One part of your post sticks out: "It turns on and off randomly."

If you're saying that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't you may want to try the suggestion above.

But if you're saying that sometimes the turn signal turns on by itself, that's another issue.

That would be a failure in the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module).

Chrysler changed them every other year trying to get it right. (they never did)

All these components are soldered to the circuit board.

Inside, yours looks similar to this:

it's a bad connection. It could be the socket, or grounding terminal.
