Hi Scotty, Please help. We have a 2014 highlander 4 cyl. with 123,000 miles. It is starting to have torque converter shudder. We got a quote for $1500.00. That is the only thing wrong with the car. Is it the start of more repairs? Should we get the torque converter replaced or look for another newer Highlander?

$1500 isn't too bad. Fix it, sell it, and buy a newer Highlander.
Our thought to either fix it and keep it or just sell it and find a newer Highlander. Not fix it and then sell it.
you won't get very much for a shuddering SUV
