Hi Scotty my name is Calvin from Louisiana & i have a 2015 F-150 XLT with the 2.7 ecoboost auto 2WD with a 3.73 gear that i have always taken care of the maintenance on it with almost 104000 miles that i have bought brand new. I have been having the issue for about 4-5 yrs now, but doesnt seem like its a major issue to me yet because its not everytime its doing it & it would have to be doing the problem for them to diagnose it & fix it, so its just been bothering me & now that i have some time i wanted to get it taken care of asap before something does happen being i have these miles on it now. So when turning left going around a round-about when the bottom of the steering wheel turning left going to around the 11 o'clock r so position the steering wheel feels like its getting hung up but not stuck like its getting caught in a groove or something & when letting go of the steering with the feel of it being hung up its lets loose freely like nothing is wrong with it. Took it to the dealership to find out if they know or heard of any issue like this that they could tell me what the problem is without having to charge me to diagnose the problem & tell me they dont know, which the service advisor asked the mechanics (LMAO) at no charge if they ever heard of an issue like mine & they didnt. Your knowledge would be greatly appreciated on helping me figure this issue out.
Doing a Google found there be a class action lawsuit for steering. Have you looked into it? If not the situation may come to resolve itself at no cost to you.
dont think it is the same issue that i am having pretaining to that lawsuit from what i did read on that issue thanks anyway
No worries and my bad haha, I just figured if the system would be replaced for free it doesn't hurt to call up and ask.

I would check your steering stop caps if the truck has them. If they are dry or missing it could “possibly” cause it to stick if it’s hanging up on something or for sure it can cause sometimes a substantial noise
steerin wheel is not being turn the whole turn from wheels being straight only going from 6o'clock to around 11o'clock position when turning left
