Scotty,
I have a 2015 Explorer 96K miles (non-Ecoboost). I bought the car new as well. About 85% of the miles are highway. I change the oil every 5K miles and do regular maintenance (coolant, ATF, air filters etc.)
I haven’t had any major issues with the car so far. My question is how do I make it last forever?
I know the water pump setup is usually what ruins the engine once it goes bad. How can I make the engine and water pump last a long time?

Change your coolant every 4 years so the pop will have clean fluid cars change the engine oil frequently never know how long are going to last
