Dear
I have Mazda 6 2007 automatic model.I am in SAUDI ARABIA.So recently i have changed the Headgasket because i was fed up with car overheating and coolant reducing and leakage in Radiator as the gasket was burst from some many months Maybe.
So now after this repair everything is okay. But I notice nowadays after 2 weeks of repair that when I start The car when cold there is some cranky noise which goes off after the car say runs for some time. But i am.also noticing some acceleration issue. If i am at slow speed between 20 t 40 k, then there's some hesitation in acceleration and it's little slower in acceleration. All is okay when i am driving at higher speed but when I am slower, this issue occurs.
I contacted my mechanic and he says In Cold weather now this issues are normal so don't panic.
But please help me.Tell me what's the issue here.isthisnormal??Will it go if weather gets warmer??we are only 15 20 deg cold not much here so strange for me.
Please help as I am driving From recent months only.
Thanks
enam
I would like to hear the sound itself have you come post the sound let me listen to it because if it really is clanking that's a sign of something like barings wearing out and piston slap which means engine is going to have a serious problem soon. You add the head gasket replaced but really when taking an engine apart it's best to rebuild them or just give up and put another Motor in
