Hi. I've got Mazda 6 first gen 2.0l diesel. I noticed when I accelerate harder, between 1k and 2-2.5k rpm the car gives a weird noise coming from something, it reminds me a little bit to a tractor like sound. Any ideas what it could be?

Well it is a diesel so it’s gonna make tractor noises lol
Is the noise something new you noticed?

Yes, the noise is new, never been there before, and it's not a normal engine noise that you hear when it's running, and as I mentioned, it only appears on harder acceleration between 1-2k rpm or so. When I drive around and accelerate slowly, that sound doesn't appear.
