Scotty,
I have a 2015 GMC Terrain 2.4L automatic with 110,000 miles. There is a strange knocking sound coming from the rear passenger side of the car when at idle, when the car is first warming up. The knock doesn't happen all the time, and usually lasts only a few seconds. My first thought was the fuel auxiliary pump, but I'm not sure. Since it only happens at start up and not when driving around, I've ruled out any suspension or drivetrain issues. Any ideas?

After some more research, I found out these vehicles have two pumps, one in the tank, and one closer to the front driven by the engine. The sound definitely seems to be from the rear one. But from what I've read, this is "normal" behavior of the pump getting up to speed. However, it's never done this before. I wonder if this is a sign of it failing.
Well depend point at watch my video finding the source of car noises Scotty. When you put that noise detecting device they come with four sending units clip them in a various areas and when you get the loudest point of the noise and all that's what's
