Hey Scotty, my dad started letting me drive his car as his first car and it is extremely boring to drive. Can you tell me some cheap mods that will make his '15 accord feel faster. Can you also tell me if it is a reliable car wit the 2.5L I4 and 6 sp auto.
Have you considered pasting stickers on the car? Each sticker usually adds about ~5bhp.
Accords have relatively weak automatic transmissions, but that 2.4L is one of Honda’s best 4cyl engines out there. As a complete package it’s very reliable!
Put some fake exhaust tips on. Make it look like dual exhaust 🤣
And you can never go wrong with a massive spoiler.
It is a very reliable motor. If you start tinkering with it though you can very quickly make it unreliable.
I wouldn't start sinking money into it personally. It isn't meant to be a street machine and if you try turning it into one, you're going to kill your reliability and resale value.
Do like I do with my 2020 Accord 2.0T Sport: Just drive it and enjoy it.
It is very reliable but messing around will mess with that and drain your pocket. It is your first car not the only car you will ever have.
