My Civic is crossed the 6yr 60000 mile mark & the blower is starting to get noisy. It has a low pitch sound that is still drowned out by the stereo but probably not for long. Seems to getting louder each year.
Wondering if I should get a replacement OEM part or an aftermarket one? Local Honda dealer quoted $175+tax, aftermarket one from Amazon with 4.5 star reviews is $38.
Or maybe a discount OEM website? Should I replace the blower motor resistor(transistor unit) too?

I would buy either a good aftermarket or discounted OEM.

get an after market lot cheaper probably last just as long and you can replace two or three for what dealer charges
