I was recently working on my 2015 Kia Forte5 EX to replace a fuel pump and sending unit. I had used my OBD2 scan tool. Got the job done no problem. My brother in law asked if I had checked the diagnostic port under the hood of the car near the fuse block. I looked to see what he was talking about. The connector is different than my OBD2 scan tool connector. What is it and can I get a tool to access it? The cover says diagnostic.

manufacturers have their own diagnostic ports for using on the assembly line
