How reliable are Mazda's made in the last 5-10 years with the Skyactive technologies? Could it last 150 - 250k miles?
Within the last 2 or 3 years they have gotten better with quality.
I would say with good care and maintenance 150k is doable. Beyond that it is a gamble.
@mod_man
what about with a manuel?
I see a lot of them with 100-150k miles for sale that are like 3 or 4 years old with manuel's so I assume it was used as a daily commuter on the HIGHWAY. They cost like 6 7k for a last generation Mazda which seems like a good deal.
Buying a stick shift eliminates half the problems in any car. I know a kid who dailys a 20yr old PT Cruiser with 140k that's still on the original clutch, and those cars are supposed to be garbage.
I just bought a 2015 mazda 3 with 105000 miles on it. Seems good so far. I would trust them. Been a Toyota and Honda fan for many years. I have a friend with a 2015 mazda 6 and he has 160000 on his.
