Hi scotty!! Long time listener, first time caller!! I bought a scion (toyota) IQ and absolutely love this little car. Can't seem to really find any info on the reliability of the engine (1NR-FE) and the CVT tranny. I always change the oil at 3000 Miles with mobil synthetic and filter. (It may seem excessive, but i do tend to push this little engine. Keep up the great shows!!!
57000 km, correct?

If the qaulity of 1NR-FE engines in America is same as in Europe, you can expect it will start burning oil soon and wear out at about 200k km.

Make sure you take care of that transmission by changing the oil and filter frequently.
