I got a 2015 Subaru Legacy 117,000 miles automatic 4 cylinder. Every time I try to shut off my car and remove the key from ignition the ac control panel light stays on after removing the key. I tried disconnecting the pos battery terminal, nothing. Only way I get it to turn off is I put the key back in and turn it back and forth till it shuts off. Could it be a ignition switch issue?

Yes it sounds like the ignition switch is not shutting power off
