2015 Toyota sienna oil leak from timing cover

I have a 2015 sienna with 88k miles on it, original owner. Noticed an oil leak. Brought it to the dealer and they said it was the timing cover that was leaking. They quoted almost 24 hours of labor at about $3000 to fix it.

Reading online it appears to fix this you need to remove the engine from the car, and that it appears to be a common issue with these engines.

Is it worth fixing this? I'm going to get a quote from a 3rd party, but I'm wondering if I should just trade the van in and be done with it.

The labor on that job is nuts because, as with most vans, you have to pull the motor.

If you like the van a lot, repair it and move on. But if you are already having this issue at under 100k miles, I'd probably trade out of it.

Thinking of trying AT-250 reseal - any thoughts on using that (something that Scotty recommends).
