I’ve replaced the spark plug and gotten the fuel system cleaned in my 2016 Acura ilx every repair made it a little more better but my car still sputters. It was jerking at first now it’s sputtering mostly when it comes to a complete stop and then I accelerate again. Could anybody possibly be aware of the problem and solution it’s been like this for almost 2 months. Could it possibly be the transmission. I was having acceleration problems and when I got the transmission flushed that went away and the jerking stop but the sputtering continues to happen and it’s killing my pockets please help y’all thank you.
A transmission problem would not cause the engine to sputter. Have you performed a diagnostic scan for codes and live data?
@chucktobias I’ve performed a scanned and no codes came up but I’m going to have to get it diagnosed at a shop
Codes are just the beginning, you need to dig into the data. Even cheap scanners these days can read live data.
