Hi Scotty, Ive just bought a 2016 Acura MDX with 90 000km on it and a mechanic told me that it is direct injection engine and I have to clean the valves at least every 100 000kms, similar what is done on the volkswagen engines. What do you think about that?

Has the mechanic already inspected them & is there a significant carbon build up, already?
No, he hasn't inspected the valves, he said it should be done every 100 000km.

Clean it once a year....do it yourself it’s easy, just follow the directions.....
CRC Intake valve cleaner......
