Carvana has hoarded most Chevrolet Sparks EV's and selling them at ridiculous exorbitant prizes. Aware that battery degradation is in progress in these old used EV's that only have an estimated 82 mile range on full Charge. For me, an old geezer, this car is ideal for very short local commutes and errands. The 2014 Spark EV does not have fast rapid charging capabilities so I am looking for a 2015 or 2016, that is a battery that is 6 or 7 years old. This little beast has 400 lb-ft torque. Other dealers, not Carvana, are also inflating prizes on this cars. Will prizes come down in 6 months ? What should i do ?
Well nobody wants to give away free prizes..
How about another tiny gasoline vehicle like a Honda Fit, which is very fuel efficient, and sure to outlast that GM, by decades?
How about a Chevy Volt?
Just don’t buy one.
Please avoid old EVs and old cheap GMs, and especially old GM EVs.
What about a Toyota Yaris / Scion iA? - those are usually inexpensive to buy and are very good on gas.
It not have that much torque, but it has the same P5 engine as the new 1.5L Miata, and the same transmission as the 2.0L Miata Auto.
They used to cost $16k new, I’d imagine they depreciated quite a bit by now.
Definelty under what they’re asking for the GM tiny overpriced death trap.
