Hello, I’ve been using mobile 1 full synthetic 0w-20 for a while now. But wanted to know if switching to high performance oil’s like amsoil, royal purple or red line will benefit my car or have any major changes.
I drive conservatively and usually charge my oil before the 5000 mile mark. I own a 2011 Toyota Corolla with about 130000 miles.
No. And please use the search 1st before creating a new topic. Just type in "amsoil" and you see several answers.
The comments above are correct, and I will add by saying if you are already changing the engine oil every 5,000 miles you don’t need those other oils especially for what they cost (not cheap at all!). Stick to oil that meets the viscosity and specifications called out in the owner’s manual, and continue being on top of the engine oil (and filter) intervals like you have been doing.
