2016 Corvette

I’m thinking of buying a low mileage 2016 C7 Corvette Stingray with a manual transmission as a daily driver.  I love the way they look.  Is this a bad decision?  Or can they be decent if I’m not a reckless driver.

I wouldn't recommend it as a daily for the following reasons:

1. It is a tight fit

2. It will drink gas

3. It won't take daily duty without issues

4. They sit very low and can bottom out

5. They beat you up over rough roads

6. They are extremely temperamental

7. The electrical components are unreliable

8. Maintenance costs can get very pricey

As a weekender, sure. But as a daily, no.

Thank you.

Can be decent. I really do like the corvette’s myself. But, even though I’m a Chevy guy, I have to admit, they aren’t awfully reliable in the long run. They won’t go more than probably 100,000 miles trouble free and you’ll probably have some maintenance along the way. If you want to keep it 25 years to be a collectors item and daily drive it and put less than 10,000 miles on it a year, it could work out that way, but a Camry/corolla would be a better daily driver no doubt.

Thank you.
