Considering buying a 2016 GMC Terrain SLT 28K miles, 3.6L AWD driven by a grandmother stored in the garage in the winter. Have been doing research on engine and transmission problems with GMC, excessive oil consumption and drivetrain issues. SUV is in mint condition inside and out. Was leaning towards buying it but now getting cold feet. Asking price is $23K. Any comments? Thanks!

$23K? No way.
Pass on it, especially if this is a vehicle you plan to keep for a while and put lots of mileage on it well past 100,000 miles. Additionally, it’s not wise to own any GM product out of warranty.
