Hey Scotty, I was able to change out the PCV Valve on my friends 2012 Prius.  It was burning oil like there was no tomorrow. And one of your videos suggested that the cause could possibly be a clogged PCV Valve. I did get stuck along the way because it was hidden behind layers and layers of things, but I kept mumbling to myself one of you adages: "when there is a will, there is a way." And continued on.

Once I was able to remove the valve, I saw was absolutely clogged. 

You and the Ask Scotty Community are great for inspiration, motivation, and encouragement, for taking on many of these DIY jobs, which used to seem impossible.

Not only that, but I save myself and friends and family a buck or two. The dealer wanted $800 bucks.  An independent mechanic wanted $300 bucks.  The part only cost $8 bucks, plus a little elbow grease, sweat, and swearing.
