Hey Scotty,
2004 Toyota Prius, 300K+ miles. Original owner.
I want to extend my thanks to you, your inspirational mechanic how to YouTube videos, and to the folks in this forum helping with random questions.
Before I started watching you, I would’ve never dreamed to tackle a job like this on my own.
Changing rear struts, let alone knowing when to changed them, must be second nature to you and many experts here.
For me, it’s the first time I’ve ever done it myself. It would have cost $550 - $700+ if I brought it in.
But all it cost me was about $200 plus tax and shipping for the parts, some elbow grease, and a bit of cursing.
Thank you all for the knowledge you share, the inspiration, and saving me some $$$.
Best,
Kaizen
No problem that's what I'm here for besides I'm lazy if you fix your own car then I won't have to fix it for you
Good Job!
Feels good to be able to make your own repairs, doesn't it?
Absolutely!
