- Hey!
I have a Saab 9-3 1,9 tid 2007 diesel that had a small coolant leak when I bought it (from a coolant tube), and I put coolant sealer (BAR’S LEAKS orginal) in it and it stopped leaking. About one year later my coolant has turned light brown with some kind off sludge. What seems so be the problem?
With kind regards Daniel from Norway.
We didn't get diesel Saabs here in the U.S. so I'm not familiar with those engines. I'd say though it's likely to be residue from the stop leak. You might try flushing out the coolant system and putting in fresh antifreeze, and keep an eye on it. Hopefully it's not a blown head gasket. Assuming it's otherwise OK do a proper repair on the leak.
Okey I will try to flush it out and put new antifreeze in it and hope that help’s, and change the tube just to be sure there is no leaks in the future.
Thank you!
