## Context
Thanks to you all for such detailed discussions. I have a 2016 Honda Civic LX, and the skid plate went missing probably because some guy (an east coast valvoline location) didn't tighten up the bolts properly, and after I drove my car to Denver, the kind people at another Valvoline alerted me of the issue and offered to put on a skid plate for free for me.
## Struggle
I had ordered quite a few different parts like this guy did, https://www.civicx.com/forum/thread...the-heck-to-find-this-part.61569/#post-980879 , and thanks to his post, I had finally located the part number for the correct parts you need to replace your skid plate
## Question
All of the trusted third party vendor (honda parts now, etc. ) doesn't seem to have this OEM part in stock.
If you order from the dealerships across the country, who do have the part, they charge you a quite exorbitant shipping fee.
There's this one eBay seller who has the part, but I generally trust eBay less, https://www.ebay.com/itm/255784786960 .
I could also go to the dealer, but then I could need to pay all kinds of mark up, and they might not do as good of a job.
Perhaps someone would have some recommendation for an independent body shop to help me order this stuff?
## Thanks as always!
I'm in quite a dilemma here as you can see. Any pointer would be super appreciated!
