Hello Scotty. My bother 2018 Acura tlx, this morning he remote start his car then after about 8 minutes he went in and start it up and put it in drive then 5 seconds after it went back in N and says (stop driving when safe transmission problem see manual). He put it in drive again like 3 times it went back to N and says the same thing. He restarted the car and don't see it anymore. The car have 76 thousand miles and he did changed the transmission fluid at 56 thousand miles any advice? Also the transmission have no jerk and shift good
Well, in the olden days when they shifted themselves back to neutral it meant the transmission was breaking down inside. But unfortunately modern cars have so many electronic computer bits of nonsense on them. Have an Acura real pro mechanic. Check that thing out with this dealer scan tool. See if there's some kind of electronic failure
