I purchased a used 2016 Honda CRV, ,Certified in and out at 54,000 mile. From Norwalk Toyota., At 60,000 ,,for peace of mind ,I changed the CVT Transmission oil.
FIVE QUARTS Came OUT instead of 3.9 QT. > Will that overfill do any damage to the Tranny?.? ,,,..Love your Chanel.

Well the real problem is it's very hard to see what the fluid level is. There is a giant procedure you have to go through. If I were you, I would pay a Honda mechanic to go through it to see if it's over fooled or whatever because there is no dipstick so you can't really tell yourself without a bunch of specialized equipment and scan tools
