I recently changed the battery on my pilot after a total power failure. Since that event, I cannot open the fuel access door using the button on the drivers door. I attempted to utilize the emergency handle in the rear quarter panel however still stuck shut. The only way I can refuel is to force the door open, however that will become problematic. What possible issues are causing this?
FYI: I live in Conroe,Tx and would have loved to drive to your old place for your expertise.
Check and see if the lever is damaged and the wire cable from the connector to the fuel door.
