I have a 2016 jeep cherokee trailhawk that randomly pops up the message start/stop service, trying to figure out what the problem could be that causes it and how to fix it

Well those Fiat Chrysler Jeeps are much lower quality than they used to be but the problem like that you need a guy like me with a dealer level scanner to drive it road tested then analyze the data so many things can go wrong from a computer failure to a sensor failure to a wiring failure even a week alternator
Would this scanner MD806 PRO work to read the data or is there simple things I can check first that can cause it?
