In a 2016 Mazda CX5 with AT it has a Electronic Parking Brake. with 83k miles Front wheel drive If I replace the rear pads, do I need to do anything different when pushing the caliper back. it is saying that it twists instead of just being pushed and also some people say that it needs to be in service mode ??. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. thanks

Look in your owner's manual. Being that the parking brake is electric, it most likely needs to be in service mode.
