Hi Scotty,

I have a 2016 Altima, which I thought to be a Japanese made good car until I started watching your videos. I drive about 30K miles per year and currently has about 130k miles with no issues so far. I change the engine oil every 10K miles and transmission fluid every 40K miles and the car still drives nice and transmission sifts like a dream. Should I consider getting rid of it or continue driving?

If you have the CVT transmission I would recommend getting rid of it now. I have seen the regular Automatics get around 200k before they start having issues as long as they are maintained properly. But looking up that year I think they only came with CVT’s and believe Nissan has a replacement recall on them. Something you should check into.
