Hey Scotty and friends! I recently replaced the DRL bulbs on my 2010 Camry with Aukee 9005 LED bulbs. After a week or two, the new bulbs do not turn on anymore in high beam mode, but the other bulbs beside them still work. The new bulbs otherwise shine perfectly fine during daytime. What could be causing this strange problem?
There may be logic in the body control module (computer) that controls the lights - I know my 09 Toyota, the lights go from DRL to full brightness based on how much light there is outside the vehicle, automatically, like when I drive into a parking garage. The different amperage draw of the LEDs may be confusing the system. I would try putting the old bulbs back in - if things work then, it's the LED bulbs, if they don't, you need to take a meter to the switches and wiring.

Some cars just will not work with certain LED bulbs. My wife’s car is same way, they work for a few days then stop. Put your original bulbs back in and see what happens. Start from there.
