2002 toyota Camry V6 with 235,000miles on it. Manual Transmission.
I thought the gearbox oil didn't need the oil change from watching videos. Now I think that might not be the case from a google search..
Does this need to be regularly changed?
Just bought this car months ago. I have to check when the next change is.

Yes it gets dirty but since it's a manual transmission you don't have the possible flaws as you would with an automatic transmission that was really dirty and old. If you changed it on an old automatic that hadn't been changed much, it could cause problems with slippage. But you have a manual. You just shift it by hand. There is no slippage involved. I would personally change it about every $100,000 mi
