Hi Scotty,

I have question.. so, what do you feel about a 2016 Nissan Murano Sl? I wanted to buy a used one that has 117,019 miles on it. It has a beautiful car fax to it. No accidents and a great service record. How long do Nissan Murano's last and is it worth buying?

Scotty has stated his feelings about modern Nissan cars quite a few times. The phrase "rolling piles of junk" is typical.

The lousy Nissan/Jatco CVT used in those things is likely near the end of its life at that mileage.

The "beautiful car fax" is irrelevant. For all you know the vehicle could have been in a wreck and put back together in someone's back yard - with Carfax being none the wiser with nothing about it reported to them. You cannot rely on Carfax.

Refer to Scotty's oft-used phrase "rolling piles of junk".

If you decide to proceed with the purchase, be sure to have a good mechanic examine the car before purchase. Afterwards is too late.
