2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro – Safe Buy?
Hey scotty,
Thinking about buying a 2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro and wanted some quick feedback.
I know they’re known for reliability with the older V6/5-speed setup, but I’ve heard minor things like brake wear, rattles, and outdated tech.
Are these still a solid “buy it for life” SUV? Any issues with the TRD Pro specifically or things I should check before buying?
Would you grab one in 2026 or go newer?

My brother bought a 2023 on advice from a retired Chevy dealer, one of his best friends, and he loves his. It's not the TRD package, no matter, the engines and trannys are solid in these things. So yeah, if you start with low miles and keep it up right, it probably will last a very long time.wanted some quick feedback.
