Hey Scotty big fan here. I just wanted to get your take on the 2017-2019 Mercedes c300, as far reliability. Was looking to get one but wanted to get some input from the guru himself.

I wouldn't buy one. All the ones I've seen are made in the United States and they have bad quality and are endless money pits in the long run

I'm not a fan of those.

The interior is cheaply slapped together, and the rest of the car is very mediocre. What I remember these most for are the issues with the timing chains and the VVT system on the 2.0T, the same crap as installed in the newer Infitnti models. Some of these have a 7 speed some have a 9 speed - either way they're at most 'decent'.

Eh, if you want a toy to keep until 100k miles or 10 years AND have the money to waste - why not. If you want a serious car you can use for a while and not have to deal with maintenance and risk of high repair costs, just get a Lexus or something more reasonable.

If you're in the US, then they're probably US made and as scotty says and I have heard they're built plain poorly. If you're in Europe, get a DIESEL.
