I need a trailer break controller for my 2017 F150. the OEM ones from Ford are almost $300. Are there any good aftermarket ones that accept ford's software and won't break immediately?

Why would you risk cheaping out on trailer brakes? Your brakes, and, by extension, your trailer's brakes are the single most important thing in your truck. $300 isn't very expensive, especially when your life may wind up depending on it.

Well I haven't found any. The problem with the aftermarket stuff is it's all Chinese and most is junk
